This is my actual rule of thirds photo. I like it a lot better then the one with the wind chime in the center. Your eye is drawn right to the wind chime and it looks like a better photo. Overall, the rule of thirds made this a better looking photo but I still don't like it too much.

Rule of Thirds Homework
This is my photo that does not have the rule of thirds incorporated. I also decided to use the information I learned about my camera by changing the photo into black and white. I think black and white photos add a different element and make them look better. I wasn't sure what to take photos of for this assignment, but I looked up in my mom's house and found her wind chime so I figured, why not just do that.
Framing Homework
This is the photo I chose for the framing homework. I chose it because it had a natural frame around it and then it looks like there is another frame with the silver lining around the coke sign. I don't really like this photo, but I think it qualifies as framing. I also took lots with door frames and windows, but I thought this might be a little more original.

Complementary Homework
I had a hard time trying to find complementary colors, but I remembered Karen saying that yellow and purple were a good example so I chose this yellow rose with little purple flowers in the background. It's not the most clear image, but I did it with the macro lense so the corners of each flower are slightly blurred, but I like the effect and I think it adds to the overall image of the photo.
Monochrome Homework
This photo was taken in an upstairs bedroom at my mom's house. The pillow, sheet, and blanket are all different shades of green so I thought this worked for the monochrome picture. I thought it was really hard to try and find something and I do not really like this picture, but I believe it serves its purpose.

My Trip
I recently went to Chicago to visit my sister who is studying for the bar exam. While there we decided to go to the tallest building in the United States. We were on the 103rd floor of the Sears Tower and the view was amazing. Although the picture is not very good it was a lot of fun to take pictures from such a height and different perspective. I took many other pictures from every angle imaginable, but this was the clearest shot I got. I had a great time in Chicago and I'm glad that I got to see such a historical building. While in Chicago we also saw Second City and did many other interesting things like the Field Museum which has the most well preserved and complete Tyrannosaurus rex, her name is Sue. Overall, Chicago was wonderful and I wish I had more photos to share!
